MYSTIQUE-CAT With: Mr. E. Cat

What type of Cat are you? Since time began us Cats have been associated with all things mystical and magical. This month we are going to look at Western Astrology and those star signs in general, to see whether you match up (or down) to your particular sign.
	Aries: - March 21 - April 20. The Explorer Cat. As a Cat born under the sign of the Ram you are Courageous if somewhat brash and will defend your territory or kittens against all comers. Your pioneering nature will lead you to seek out new hunting grounds (To boldly go where no Cat has gone before?) Your independent nature may seem selfish to some as you will often purposely ignore the call of your tin opener, only coming home at your own convenience. (The Aries Cat WILL always have the final say in any argument)
	Taurus: - April 21 - May 21. The Fat Cat. Born under the sign of the Bull you can take stubbornness to the extreme. If you decide you want something (Or want it a certain way) you won't let up until you have it (Or it is done that way) You can be lazy, prone to obesity and gluttony. On the good side (if you consider these to be negative traits) Taurine Cats have been known to be very loyal and enjoy the comforts of a good home. You love luxury, you are definitely a Cat that likes to be pampered. You have the ability to take whatever is thrown at you in your stride (You just learn to dodge at an early age). But like the proverbial Elephant you never forget a slight. (As they say: Revenge is a dish best served cold)
	Gemini: - May 22 - June 21. The Schizoid Cat As a Cat born under the sign of the Twins you are in two minds about everything, (No I'm not, yes I am) One minute you're a cuddly ball of fluff the next your all claws and teeth. No one knows quite where they stand with you and this can keep your tin openers or companions on their guard. The Gemini Cat has the ability to master a little of everything, though you will rarely excel in one skill. This is due to your inability to decide what you want to do. Your unreliability is renowned and you change your mind at the drop of a mouse. (The Gemini Cat is always on the wrong side of every door)
	Cancer: - June 22 - July 22. The Family Cat A Cat born under the sign of the Crab is never likely to get lost, you have the homing instinct of a pigeon, but much more brain. You prefer the company of Cats to tin openers, unless you are hungry or you need a good stroke to get rid of the loose cat fur. Though you instinctively know when your tin opener is feeling down, and will offer them comfort and a distraction from their problems. You like your creature comforts and are a stay at home kind of Cat. You will always remain the kitten, no matter how old you get you will always love to play. (The Cancerian Cat Is the kitten that refuses to grow up)
	Leo: - July 23 - August 23. The Cats Cat Born under the sign of the Lion. You are both egotistical and eccentric. You look down your nose at all other Cats. For you know you are far superior to all others in the known universe. You are very loving and passionate and can give as much as you receive. But if you don't get your own way you are prone to sulking. (No one can sulk like a Leo.) Once pointed in the right direction, you will take an idea as your own, and then nothing will get in your way from achieving your goal. Although gentle by nature, just don't back this Cat into a corner. (A Cat is a Lion in a jungle of small bushes. - Indian Proverb -)
	Virgo: - August 24 - September 23. The Critical Cat As the Cat born under the sign of the Virgin you are the original critic, you will find fault with everything (Including this report on star signs) purity of mind and body are your desires.With cleanliness holding the highest priority. A place for everything and everything in it's place, if you want to upset the Virgo Cat just change the furniture around. Before putting any plans into action, you like to think things through, . Although you are not one to sit idle, and you feel you must supervise any ongoing activity around the place. (To a Virgo Cat perfection is a must, NOT a request)
	Libra: - September 24 - October 23. The Balanced Cat As a Libran Cat you are born under the sign of the Scales. You love harmony, stability and balance. You like to see both sides of everything and can often be found upside down, just to see what the situation looks like from that angle. But you have your own ideas where rules and laws are concerned, and tend to make them up as you go along. You will tolerate most of your tin openers mistakes, and will point them out with a soft paw, rather than a sharp claw. (You are the Cat that sits on the garden fence in every dispute)
	Scorpio: - October 24 - November 22. The Feline Fatale The Scorpion Cat is one never to cross. The sting in your tail is one they will never forget. Vengeance is the name of the game here, even if it takes hours to plan a retaliation, you WILL get them back for the smallest slight. Your powers of perception are astounding. (You instinctively know when your presence is required) Though when it comes to the opposite sex you like to live life to the full. You know what you like and you want it often, you love the thrill of the chase and revel in the kill. You live life to the extreme, and rely on luck rather than judgement to survive. (Life in the fast lane is fun. Just watch where you stop for a nap).
	Sagittarius: - November 23 - December 21. The Rebel Cat As a Cat born under the sign of the Archer your keen eye makes you a natural hunter. You are the optimist always lying in wait for something better to come along, be it food, girls/boys or just someone who understands you. You are the born rebel, rules are meaningless to you and you will file a request for later consideration. But you are the natural wanderer; you always want to know what's over the next hill or garden wall. (What are you rebelling against? What have you got?)
	Capricorn: - December 22 - January 20. The Working Cat The Cat born under the sign of the Goat is a Good mouser. Once you have that mouse in your sights nothing will get in your way until you have it. You are very set in you ways and do not like anything out of the ordinary, the slightest upset in your life and you turn your back on everyone and everything, withdrawing into yourself for hours at a time. You tend to look on the dark side of life. You will give others a second chance, but it takes a lot of begging and bribery on the part of others to win you back. (Always try and look on the bright side of life)
	Aquarius: - January 21 - February 19. The De Vinci Cat The Cat born under the sign of the Water Carrier is unpredictable. You love company, but must be the centre of attention. You are the genius of the cat world. If there is a problem you are the one to work it out, how to break into that cupboard and raid the biscuits box? This is a job for the Aquarian Cat. If you want out you open the door yourself, why wait for the tin opener? Too dark in this room? Switch the light on. You love to torment all those around you, and you take an almost perverse delight in the act. If there were awards for tormenting tin openers you would win paws down. (You're too damn clever for your own good)
	Pisces: - February 20 - March 20. The Mystical Cat The Cat born under the sign of the Fishes is a dreamer. You can gaze endlessly at a blank wall for hours, meditating on the meaning of life the universe and everything. Only the answer usually comes down to cat food. (42 tins?) You are a healer by nature; even your purr has a soothing quality about it. Only your tin openers are not so sure that your form of corrective massage and acupuncture are quite what they need at 3 in the morning. On the down side you can be over possessive in your affections and tend to be jealous of others taking up your favourite lap. (Doctors have just discovered the therapeutic value of possessing and fondling a Cat. Which anyone who has lived with a cat could have told them over the last 6 thousand years or more. For those Cats born on a cusp of two signs. Just take the worst (or best) bits from both and add confusion to your tin openers.
